Ben and Ellen - Update
by Sadnesss, 158 days ago12/27 Update - Ellen is home and doing ok, in so far as I know. Thank you to all who have donated. We ended up getting a cool statue of Pabstt made and donated $392 to Ellen. 12/18 Update - Thank you all very much for your kind and generous donations. I ordered the figureprints statue of Pabstt, and according to the small print on the website it may take up to 2 months to make. I will keep you updated on when it ships. The additional funds I am donating to the paypal account listed on the Mclain Family donation page (http://mclainfoundation.webs.com/). I will keep the LA fundraising open until Friday. After that time, you can still donate directly on that page.

We have decided that instead of sending flowers, we will be having a statue of Pabstt's in game character made and sent to Ellen/Dexter via Figureprints (http://figureprints.com/wow/Default.aspx). I am now accepting donations via the guild website for the statue (see donate button above). If we raise over $60, we will get a bust, over $125 and we will get a full statue, and anything over $125 will be donated to Ellen to use as she sees fit.
For those of us who have played with Ben and Ellen for years, this is terribly sad and I think any small gesture we can do as a guild will go a long way. Please donate what you can.

by Sadnesss, 163 days agoIt's with a heavy heart that I inform you all that we have tragically lost a core member of Liquid Adrenaline. Ben (Pabst) was killed yesterday in a car crash. Ellen (Aristocratic) was also in the car and is currently undergoing reconstructive surgery. As far as we know, she is expected to survive. Dexter, their son, was not in the car. I will post updates as I get them.
Ben and Ellen have been core members and officers of our guild and have contributed in numerous ways. They have lead both pvp and Pve groups. Our progression group, Group Sex, was started and named by Ben and he filled his friends in to fill the ranks. He will be sorely missed, in game and out. We are proud to have played this game with him.
As a guild, we will be contributing in some way to his arrangements, and we hope and pray for a speedy recovery for Ellen.
